CAFF - Cineville Annual Film Festival is an event organized by the members of FilmTantra - The Film Appreciation and Filmmaking Society of Shaheed Bhagat Singh College. We aim to bring meaningful and engaging cinema to enthusiastic audiences.

With each passing year, we have built a wider audience and helped introduce more people to indie cinema. Last year, the pandemic brought about a change that made the world move virtual and CAFF follwed suit. We concluded a successful virtual edition of CAFF with 16 films, 5 workshops with more than 10 panel discussions.

This year, by combining both online and offline audiences, CAFF is going hybrid for the first time. Evolution is a long term process and CAFF is certainly evolving.

A contribution on your part will ensure that we are able to bring to your screen the best that independent cinema has to offer. By becoming a contributor you will be supporting our aim of bringing off-beat cinema to the mainstream audience and those passionate about filmmaking. It will allow us to provide many deserving filmmakers to showcase their work along with giving student filmmakers a chance to interact with professionals working in the industry.

Moreover, as a contributor you will be ensuring the sustainability of our aim and of the indie film industry itself. While we have a clear set of goals that we work towards, the broad aim we have in mind while taking up any new initiative is the creation of a space for those who love cinema and wish to share the experience of it with the rest of the world.
